HDR Total Solar Eclipse
I personally experienced the short minute of a total solar eclipse, and the most impressive ones were the rose colored chromosphere and prominent prominences of the sun, which were particularly noticeable throughout the entire eclipse period.
However, for cameras, the details of the solar corona vary greatly in brightness. In order to present the real scene of the total solar eclipse, I used different exposure times from 1/640 second to 2 seconds, divided into ten gears, and used different bracketing. During the total solar eclipse, a total of four sets of original photo data of bracketing were obtained.
The later image processing was completed by my friend Zhang Jiajie. In the image processing, photos taken at different exposure times were aligned and overlaid, reducing the brightest part of the image while increasing the brightness of the dark part. This requires a series of mathematical and computer algorithms to analyze the image before obtaining the final optimal result. We would also like to express our special gratitude to Hana Druckmullerova for her paper on image processing of total solar eclipses, which has greatly inspired our image processing ideas.

Exmouth in the Umbra
This photo, taken over 450 meters away, captures the scene of Exmouth town immersed in the shadow of the moon during a total solar eclipse. In the distance, you can see the North West Cape surrounded by the sea.

Hello Moon Shadow
There is a wonderful curve in the photo, which is the trajectory of the sun in the sky. I spent about three hours capturing it. During this period, the sun was obscured by the moon and a total solar eclipse occurred for about one minute. The interval between shooting each image of the sun in the middle is approximately 6 minutes. The background of the photo is an image captured during a total solar eclipse, with coconut trees in tropical Australia below. By careful observation, two birds can be seen standing on one of the trees, startled by the sudden total solar eclipse and chirping.
